Yoga and Clinical Pilates Workshops Autumn 2016
In autumn 2016, Stalwart Wellness will facilitate a range of clinical Pilates and Yoga Workshops in Tenterden, Kent.

The courses have been designed to introduce you to a chosen discipline. We will offer a yoga course for beginners; another specifically designed to deepen your learning of Vinyasa Yoga; Yoga workshops to promote healthy spinal movement and help manage back pain; as well as clinical Pilates workshops to target lower back pain and posture.

Beginner's Yoga Workshop
Learn the basics of Yoga practice with this introductory course. The four-week course will present the basics of Yoga by developing knowledge within the individual of breathing and movement exercises. This combination of breath work and Asanas (poses) improves wellbeing by reducing stress, gaining flexibility and improving posture.

Vinyasa Flow Workshop
Extend your knowledge of Yoga with this four-week course. Journey through the practice of Vinyasa Flow taught to be both challenging and varied to the individual. The exercises are both physically and psychologically demanding to improve wellbeing, a strength of mind and body. Exercises focus on core strength and posture as well as elongating the spine to relieve neck and back issues.

Yoga for Healthy Backs
These Yoga Workshops teach a combination of Asanas that have been specifically chosen to be effective at relieving lower back pain. The four-week course is taught by a back pain Yoga specialist. The exercises focus on strengthening core muscles and improving posture conducive to preventing back pain.

Lower Back Pain, Somatic and Posture Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates workshops suitable for all abilities. This course focuses on improving posture and spinal articulation by using a combination of Somatic movement education, Feldenkrais awareness of movement and Franklin Method Pilates. The course begins with a medical and lifestyle questionnaire to highlight any muscular or postural imbalances and includes worksheets and video clips for home study.

Workshops will be held on Fridays and each four week course is £95 per person. All workshop sessions will be taught in small groups of a maximum of 6 people. They will be taught by the owner of Stalwart Wellness, a fully qualified Yoga teacher, Polestar Pilates practitioner and lower back pain specialist.

The classes are taught within the unique and secluded setting of her private Pilates studio in Tenterden. This is ideally located for people living in the South East, Kent and Sussex, and has parking available on site.
